Irongoddess - Follow your bliss!!
I am a marathon runner and triathlete who has completed 13 marathons and three Ironman triathlons, many to raise money for various charities. I never thought I'd run a marathon, and more so, I never thought I'd ever get over my fear of water, but I did! I believe in dreams and miracles and making things happen. Follow me on my journey as I train, live, laugh, love, and tri ... Nothing is impossible.

Hahahahaha! Unbelievable! Can you walk today? Close to zero training and you pull it off! Did you just wake up early on Sunday and say, "Why not?"
Yes, I can still walk but I can't step down off a curb yet. Stairs ... yup, I am going down backwards. They had just way too many little hills in the Gatineau part of the marathon course. Doesn't help that I wasn't fully recuperated from my 25k run last Tuesday which I did to do some thinking and prove to myself that I could still do it ... and the marathon too.
